El Olivo de La Cala is located in La Cala de Mijas, a small town in Costa del Sol, where we have been open as a restaurant since 2009, although our path started in 2002 in a cozy restaurant in Calahonda.

The mix of nationalities of the team that make up this great family is reflected in our dishes. Rafael, head chef and also owner of the restaurant, with more than twenty-five years of experience as a chef and native from France, where he trained as a chef together with his partner Fali, born in Ronda, and the other professionals form a great team with the passionate objective of showing their dedication and love for gastronomy.
Using seasonal products both from our land and from other places we have managed to work out a menu with more than fifty dishes where each commensal can find a menu that fits their tastes and needs, also putting at your service different options of adapted dishes for vegetarians or celiacs.
Specialties
Among our great variety we highlight the most demanded dishes by our visitors, such as the leg of suckling pig accompanied by a fine cream of boletus, the carre of lamb roasted in sauce of cane honey and lemon or the barbecue fillet of red tuna with arugula, parmesan cheese and wasabi ali oli. These suggestions can be found within the sheet of specialties that we offer daily and that varies according to the products that we offer each season of the year.

The treatment that the waiters try to give to the clients is close and respectful, satisfying the needs of each person always within our possibilities. Thanks to our diversity of nationalities we can offer attention in several languages such as Spanish, English, French, German or Swedish.

We offer a wide range of wines, most of them Spanish wines, which you can enjoy pleasantly in our winter room with central fireplace. We also have a variety of cocktails for the summer months.
